No, there is not. Each university is free to send any number of teams. One person can only be part of one team.
I was one of the winners in the CHRONICS 2024 can I join the competition again this year?
Yes, you can join the competition again. Whether you were just participants, finalists, or even the winner, there is no restriction to joining the competition again
Are the abstract, mini proposal, and full proposal should be written in English?
Yes, all documents submitted through the competition are all written in English, in accordance with the rules of Standard Written English (SWE).
Is it allowed if there is any change in team members?
Any change in team members is prohibited.
Is there any tolerance for delay in submitting files due to technical errors?
No, there is not. There will be a point reduction for delayed submission. It is better to submit all required files before the due date in order to prevent unexpected things.
What is the minimum page of the mini proposal?
There are no regulations regarding a minimum page.
How many teams will be selected to the final stage?
10 teams will be selected. Those teams will be invited to Yogyakarta for the final stage on September 4th-7th, 2025. If there are any changes due to the current situation, it will be informed to the selected 10 teams
What are the necessary things that must be prepared by finalists?

Are there any regulations that prohibited showing the university’s identity?
Regulations are still applied in the Mini Proposal Stage. Any identity, including photo background, alma mater suit, and any other universities identities are prohibited to be shown in the Mini Proposal.
What is the maximum page of the mini proposal?
The mini proposal consists of a maximum of 15 pages in A4 paper, excluding cover and references, and attachments (if any).
Is it permissible if the contents of the mini proposal may change from the abstract that has been made?
The mini proposal should be created based on the abstract that your team has submitted. You are not allowed to change the main function of your main product concept, only little changes are allowed such as product features, the name of the product, etc.
Are there specific criteria for Mini Proposal design?
The design (including font, content order, etc.) of the Mini Proposal is up to your team’s creativity.
What if the number of pages exceeds the provisions?
There will be any further penalties (point reduction) in the scoring of mini proposals for every team that violates the rules.
Are there any software provisions in designing the 3D version of the product?
No handwritten/sketch designs are allowed.
What is the format for submission of mini proposals?
Label your mini proposal in .PDF file with the format: Mini Proposal_Team’s name. Example: Mini Proposal_Kanban. Then, compress with the other required files (.rar or .zip) and label the file with the format:

University Name_Team’s Name_Team’s Chief, for example, UGM_Kanban_Zulvan Muhammad Nabawi.

How is the mechanism of announcement for the participants who passed the mini proposal stage?
The participants who passed the mini proposal stage will be announced via email.
